About NECA

NECA is a dynamic national organization serving the management interests of the entire electrical contracting industry.

The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) is the voice of the $130 billion industry responsible for bringing electrical power, lighting, and communications to buildings and communities across the United States. NECA includes 119 U.S. chapters in addition to others in countries around the world. The Greater Sacramento Chapter of NECA represents contractors in the Sacramento, Reno, and Redding Divisions.

NECA is dedicated to enhancing the industry through continuing education, labor relations, current information, and promotional activities. It is the voice of the electrical contracting industry, working to promote higher standards, quality workmanship, and training for a skilled workforce.

The Greater Sacramento Chapter’s jurisdiction covers 18 different counties in Northern California and 14 counties in Nevada. Board members and officers work in a partnering relationship with skilled electricians of IBEW Local 340 and 401 to promote excellence in the electrical construction industry.
